Pama Theatre Pathway

Performing Arts and Multimedia Academy.
PAMA is Corona Del Mar High School’s very own Performing Arts and Multimedia Academy. PAMA is broken down into five different pathways including Theatre, Musical Theatre, Visual Arts, Vocal Music, Instrumental Music, and Dance. PAMA is an “honors society” within the advanced coursework of each of these pathways. The goal is to recognize and honor high achieving students in the arts and give them the tools to further develop their craft and pursue it in their future studies and careers. Many of these requirements will be incorporated into the coursework; however, additional work will be required to complete the pathway requirements and receive this highly esteemed certificate of achievement.

What do students do in PAMA?

PAMA students participate in field trips, workshops, and community building activities. They perform at a variety of functions, and build their portfolios in the process. Interested students should see Ms. Ybarra in Room 617 . PAMA students are expected to take four years of CDMHS art courses in their pathway specific pathway. These classes not only challenge the students academically, but creatively and artistically as well. Come graduation, each PAMA student is awarded a PAMA medallion to identify and commemorate their talents and hard work. Students will perform at the PAMMY’s at the end of the year.
